Baan Khun Mae

It isn't everyday you are free to follow a meal with royal eyes staring down at you. Within my table, I have Her Majesty, Queen Sirikit looking at me....in reality, most of her investigating me, like warning me that wasting your meals are sinful.  The packed restaurant is adorned with pictures of royalty, both past and present. Yes, We've your entire royal lineage accompanying me as I appreciatively wolfed down a great meal. I was here having dinner with my Japanese and Canadian friends. The atmosphere the following is remind me after i was young. The inner is sombre with olive green and not forbidding, got out alive through the warm caress of spot lights.  Heavy sturdy traditional wooden chairs and tables invoke a village cosy feeling. It's live Thai old song with Thai instrument. Service was quick, warm and friendly. The environment, was enticing. Sultry with all the allure of Thai cooking. Sexy. The food is very delicious which is classic Thai home style cuisine. The restaurant is also famous because of its authentic tastes, ambience and warm Thai hospitally. Favorite Dish: We licked our fingers and slurped our tongues through Tom Yum Goong, Curries and Charcoal Grilled Pork with Honey but I have to admit how the standout dish was the Minced Chicken, Pea, and Sweet Corn in Pastry Shell.
